This series explores the 3 stages of heartbreak -
1. when you figure out there’s a problem with your partner.
2. The feeling of having the very foundation of your relationship ripped out from under your feet.
3. The elation you feel months later when your hurt has been healed.
Why is it when two people are making something together, they have to do it with a specific purpose in mind? What started out as Richard Turley playing around with words by me, turned into an art experiment. We took out a full page ad in a local zine in New York and invited the audience to explore our art experiments by texting an image to a designated cellphone number and return would receive instructions and the link to our unlisted website that hosted the work. The images went to a burner phone that would auto reply with the link. I don’t think Richard ever bothered checking the images collected on the burner…
Fun fact this work was also featured on It’s Nice That in an article about Richard’s work!

😪In the future our avatars will be exhausted from riding the lines of dark matter😪. Will there someday be a black hole jacuzzi that manages to transform the self into a state of cosmic duality🤔👥? What would it do to our reality as we know it, would this double our authenticity or halve our humanity? 🚀🛰🗿🌌🔮
My hatred of snow, my love of casual profanity and my awkwardness with the paint tool while drawing freehand type came together to create my most unique/best/first/only laser cutting experiment. My parents weren’t too pleased with it.
