Sea-Watch is an incredible NGO founded by a group of volunteers that couldn’t sit by and watch as politicians turned an ongoing humanitarian crisis into a divisive talking point. They use seaplanes and boats to help rescue migrants stranded in the Mediterranean. We wanted to remind Germany that this issue is still ongoing and urge the government to help provide safe passage to these people in search of a better life. We created a series of un-ignorable signs and kicked this campaign off with a hard hitting film. We then underlined the importance of action by installing a ‘sea’ of signs and hosted a massive protest outside the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin.
